In the afternoon of Wednesday, March 16, 2022, a contract signing ceremony was held for the construction of a smart farm between the Faculty of Agriculture, National University of Laos and Sharing Culture and Arts Exchange Association, Republic of Korea. Dr Vannaphone Phutthana, Vice Dean, signed on behalf of the Faculty of Agriculture and Dr. Yoo Hyun sook signed on behalf of the Sharing Culture and Arts Exchange Association, Republic.
There are also representatives from departments, divisions in the Faculty of Agriculture, National University and representatives from Sharing Culture and Arts Exchange Association, Republic of Korea, which has a total of 15 participants. The purpose of establishing a smart farm is to focus the training in order to transfer the technology in agriculture to the students within the Faculty of the Agriculture National University of Laos and cooperate in the development of training of technical personnel on smart farms and technical knowledge on vegetable cultivation.
